The Quilters' Guild Of NSW proudly presents its annual members' exhibition in conjunction with the Craft and Quilt Fair
The Sydney Quilt Show : Celebrating 30 Years

Doors open at 9am on Wednesday 13 June 2012 with the Official Opening and Awards Ceremony at 11.00am : all are invited to attend.

The excitement is building among all Guild Members who are looking forward to seeing this year's highlights:

• Over 360 entries in 17 categories
• The Raffle Quilt : made by members of Novocastrian Quilters
• The 2011 Guild Challenge "Purple and Yellow"
• Special 30th Year Challenge "Fertile Imagination"
• Best of State and Best of Australia Quilts (Best of Show Quilts from across Australia for 2011 sponsored by Bernina)
• The AP&Q Challenge exhibition "What The World Needs Now"
• The Replica Frederica Josephson Coverlet, made by Guild Members
• The collaborative "Seasonal Sisters" Quilt made by Helen Godden, Gail E. Thomas and Annette M. Hendricks
• Hand sewing and Machine Quilting demonstrations
• Country Members Groups promotional display
• Kidskills on Saturday and Sunday
• Floor talks from various Quilters . . (please check website for specific details)
• Daily Lucky Visitor Prize of $100 worth of Products

Also:

• 2 separate categories of Master Quilter displays, showcasing the work of invited outstanding Traditional and, Contemporary Quilters
• A special 30th year Celebratory Exhibition Catalogue to include photos of the 20 quilts entered by these Master Quilters 
• Daily talks by some of these Master Quilters . . (please check website for updates of times for these talks)

And as a very special display, two Feature Quilters : Shirley Gibson and Judy Hooworth . . Shirley is widely admired for her incredibly fine hand quilting, whilst Judy is a renowned Art Quilter who has exhibited 26 times in the Sydney Quilt Show.  Both of these quilters, revered by all, have been members of The NSW Guild for many years .

The Quilt Show will be open from 9am - 5pm daily, 13 - 17 June 2012.
